If booking a meeting room, please confirm this booking is for a meeting and not a training session: 

Bookings for our Executive Boardroom is available on special request. Please note this room is heavily used by the ASBFEO office and may not always be available. Lastly, this room only can only connect to Microsoft Teams. Other video conferencing platforms will not work with this rooms' system.

On arrival at the Hub, you can access level 2 from the lifts on the ground level. Once on level 2, you will need to contact ASBFEO staff (using the doorbell) and sign the visitor’s register to be issued with a single-use access pass. ID and a business card will need to be provided to be issued with an access pass. Visitors must return access passes at the end of each day. Please note that the Hub is not for use by Canberra-based businesses.

The Hub offers the following facilities:

Desks

• 16 desk spaces – 1 desk per person (no double desking)

Meeting rooms

• Meeting room 1 (16pax) - video conferencing capability
• Meeting room 6 (8pax)
• Executive Boardroom (20 pax) (available on request by emailing hub@asbfeo.gov.au)

Teleconference/video conference facilities

• Meeting room 1 (teleconference + videoconference)

Other facilities

• WiFi
• Kitchen facilities including tea and coffee, glasses, crockery and cutlery (for up to 24 people)
• Disabled toilet
• A4 black and white printing

You will need to:

• Provide your own devices such as a laptop or mobile phone
• Organise your own catering if required (we can suggest local catering businesses)
• Organise parking (street parking is available)
• Arrange secretariat support for meetings or events if required.

Networks or industry associations are invited to become a partner of the Small Business Hub.

This provides a space to direct your members or stakeholders to should they require work space or facilities.

Emergency procedures

In case of emergency please call – ASBFEO on 0427 045 528 / 02 5114 6100 or ring the doorbell at reception. Alternatively, call the security desk on 02 6263 3197.

All Hub users must read and acknowledge the emergency evacuation procedures for the building upon receipt of their security access pass.

All Hub users must follow direction from the wardens.

Accessing the Hub

The building is open from  7:30am – 7:00pm. (The building locks outside of these times and if you leave you will not be able to come back inside. Take all your belongings with you when you exit).

While the building is open between these hours, the Hub is open between 8:30am and 5:00pm. ASBFEO staff members will not be available prior to 8:30am to issue access passes.

Access is via ASBFEO Reception on Level 2, 15 Moore Street, Canberra.

All Hub users must register at reception. ID and a business card will need to be provided to be issued with an access pass.

Cards must be returned to reception (or dropped in the box at reception) upon departure. There may be a cost for cards not returned.

Code of conduct

• Hub users and their organisation are responsible for their members and guests behaviour whilst using the Hub.
• Any damages caused must be advised to ASBFEO immediately.
• Guests must be escorted at all times.
• Hub users should be respectful of other businesses using the space as it is an open plan office.
• Please rinse and put dishes in the dishwasher.
• Clean up the kitchen after use.
• ASBFEO is not responsible for any damages or theft of personal items – do not leave your personal items unattended.

Usage of equipment

• Hub users are to provide their own devices such as a laptop and mobile phone.
• Teleconference and videoconference facilities are available for booking.

Car parking

Please see the map for public parking in the vicinity of the Hub.

Catering

Tea, instant tea and coffee are available in the kitchen.

All meeting / catering costs must be arranged and paid for by the Hub user. ASBFEO can provide recommendation of local small catering businesses.
