Language Assistance

The Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman website provides a range of information to assist small business owners from a diverse range of backgrounds to effectively manage their business.

If you need an interpreter:

  • please call the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) on 13 14 50 for the cost of a local call
  • tell the operator the language you speak
  • ask the TIS to telephone the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Information Line on 1300 650 460.

TIS National telephone interpreting service is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

The Information Line is open from Monday to Friday 8am – 8pm nationally.
